A 16-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot at an Indio car wash on Saturday.
The shooting happened about 5:20 pm at the Village Square on Jackson Street nearAvenue 44, reports KESQ. The victim’s name has not been released.
Authorities are invistigating the incident, with Acting Assistant Chief Chris Hamilton telling the Desert Sun that, “the possibility of the shooting being gang related has not been ruled out.”
No suspects have been identified.
