Costas nightclub at The Desert Springs Marriott has a new look to it (I know, I had forgotten it was there too) and, judging by this week’s write up in The Desert Sun, it may just be THE spot for pompous and annoying people.

Now, I am far from a nightclub expert, but the place just seems to be trying too hard.

After The Desert Sun refers to the place as an “‘It’ hot spot”, we learn of a few new elements to the club:

• It has a “fashion conscious vibe”.
• There is a “Champagne Lounge” with white faux leather couches (because white never gets dirty in a nightclub).
• There are couture-inspired cocktails with names like Costas Haute Couture and White Catwalk.
• There is a cocktail called The Trendsetter which is a mix of Perrier Jouet, Nuit Blac Rose and edible diamonds (which are apparently a thing that exist).

So if dressing up and sipping on champagne on a fake leather couch is your thing, enjoy.  Just be sure not to choke on all of those edible diamonds.
