A new movie theater is opening on Washington Street in La Quinta this fall and it will offer the most important thing any movie goer could ask for: booze!

The theater complex (located behind Target) will offer special wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling screens, digital projection and surround sound according to The Desert Sun. It will also have a concession stand and lobby bar with beer, wine and frozen cocktails.

Movie theaters around the nation have been adding alcohol sales in order to compensate for lower overall ticket sales. Theater owners say that since adding booze-in-theaters, rowdy customers have been rare.
