Indio Police have announced a sobriety checkpoint for Sunday night.

Officers from the Indio Police Department’s DUI Enforcement Team will be conducting a DUI/Drivers License Checkpoint on Sunday, September 10 at an undisclosed location within the city limits between the hours of 8 pm to 3 am.

Cops will be looking for signs of alcohol and drug impairment as well as checking licenses and registration.

Checkpoint or no checkpoint, if you have had too much to drink take a Lyft, an Uber, a cab, have a designated driver, or let have the Neil’s Lounge van take you home.
