Previously, we shared how to impress your friends and your tastebuds with Thanksgiving Stuffing made from In-N-Out Burgers. Well, why stop there? Anyone up for Big Mac Stuffing this year? Here’s how to do it.
Reynolds Kitchens, the people who brought you the The Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Turkey, are back with what they call “Fast Food Cheeseburger Stuffing.” The recipe is as follows:
INGREDIENTS
- 6 fast food cheeseburgers (that sure do look a lot like Big Macs) with special sauce, ordered with special sauce on the side
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chopped dill pickles
- 2 cups beef stock
- 1 egg, beaten
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13×9-inch pan with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil and set aside.
STEP 2
PULL each cheeseburger apart separating the buns, beef patties, lettuce and pickles. Chop the buns into 1/2 x 1/2-inch pieces and set aside. Chop each beef patty into 6 pieces and set aside. Cover the lettuce and pickles and refrigerate, along with the special sauce until serving.
STEP 3
MELT the butter in a large skillet. Add onion and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring often for 2 to 3 minutes. Add pickles and cut beef patties and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the stock and continue cooking until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and set aside.
STEP 4
PLACE cut buns into prepared pan. Drizzle the beaten egg on top and toss to coat. Pour the stock mixture on top. Using a spatula, stir mixture to fully coat the bread.
STEP 5
COVER with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until top is crisp. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes.
STEP 6
DRIZZLE with special sauce and garnish with lettuce and pickles before serving.
