Two people are dead after a shooting in Palm Desert on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home on Calle Las Brisas a little before 2 pm. Upon arriving, they located two dead adults at the scene.
An adult male is in custody and police say there is no threat to the public.

No further information has been released.
Update: Frank Scott Castro III was arrested Wednesday afternoon and booked into the Indio Jail on two counts of suspicion of murder.
The identities of the two victims have not released.
