Desert Hot Springs city council members caved Tuesday night to retail giant Walmart and their wishes to pay employees in dirt as little as possible.

Now, if Walmart ever decides to actually open a store on the land they have had for years in Desert Hot Springs – they will not have to pay anything more than the legal minimum to employees.
