The Westfield Palm Desert mall was evacuated on Thursday afternoon because of a fire alarm.

The alarm was triggered a little about 2:16 pm for unknown reasons, according to the Desert Sun.
Everyone was led out of the building and then let back in the building 3 minutes later.
