A woman is dead after she was shot in Desert Hot Springs on Thursday night.

The shooting happened at Wardman Park, reports KESQ. Someone attempted to take the woman, who was shot in the head, to the hospital, but didn’t make it there and pulled over in a Wells Fargo parking lot in Palm Springs about 10:30 pm and called police.
