2 people went hiking on the Bump and Grind and (surprise) had to be rescued

Today might end up being the hottest day of all time in the Coachella Valley – which means it is really a day that no one should even think about hiking. Well, two people did and – this will probably shock you – had to be rescued from the Bump and Grind after suffering heat-related injuries.
Crews walked the pair down the trail about 10:30 a.m., according to KESQ – who reports that both patients had minor to moderate injuries.
The temperature was 111 degrees (in the shade) at 10 a.m.

Seriously, what the hell is it going to take for people to realize it is too fucking hot to hike?
