A 21-year-old Coachella woman was killed early Wednesday after he Chevy Spark veered off the 10 Freeway and and crashed into a tree.
The California Highway Patrol says that the car “traveled to the right off the roadway and collided with a tree.” The crash happened about 1:30 am between the Jackson Street and Golf Center Drive exits, according to KMIR.
Natalia Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor.
