Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 came up huge at the box office, raking in $145 million in its opening weekend.

The opening is the 6th biggest ever in May, notes Business Insider, and was a solid 54% more than the original Guardians made in its opening weekend.
The flick is getting a solid 81% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Top of at the box office were:
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – $145 million
- The Fate of the Furious – $8.3 million
- Boss Baby – $6.2 million
- How to be a Latin Lover – $5.3 million
- Beauty and the Beast – $5 million
