Dickie O’Neal’s Irish Pub will shut down indefinitely after the close of business today in order to reorganize the business following the death of co-owner Michael Farber.

Dickie O’Neal’s opened in Palm Springs 5 years ago with Farber, along with girlfriend Joey Leffel, taking over ownership of the bar in 2014. Farber had struggled with heart problems and passed away on March 9th. Leffel chose to hand the ownership of the business over to Farber’s son and, while that takes place, Dickie O’Neal’s could shut down for weeks or even months according to The Desert Sun.

The bar will be open all day on St. Patrick’s Day, or St. Michael’s Day as they have renamed it, with corned beef & cabbage, beer, and live music.
