Eater Los Angeles has picked their 20 hottest restaurants in Palm Springs for winter 2015 / 2016.
The majority of picks came from the city of Palm Springs, including some surprises – but, Eater also highlighted a couple of restaurants further east in the Valley (what’s up, Eureka!).
Here are your top 5:
- SO.PA – Top spot went to the L’Horizon Resort and Spa al fresco restaurant – with Eater impressed with not only the food, but with “killer” seasonal cocktails.
- Rooster and the Pig – Eater highlights the 50-seat restaurant’s Jasmine tea leaf salad, the banh mi burger, and tumeric-spiked fish of the day.
- Birba – The Eater crew very much liked the ambience of the outdoor patio as well as the farm-to-table pizzas and pasta dishes.
- eight4nine – The new Uptown Design District spot made the list because of dishes like caramelized cauliflower pappardelle and cider-brined duck breast, plus the $44 four-course menu.
- The Barn Kitchen at Sparrows Lodge – The hotel’s $40 steak dinner, which just launched last month, is reservations-only, limited to 12 people, and already has “hot ticket” written all over it, according to Eater.
