Ally Bank has placed a 100 fake pennies around LA, San Diego, New York, Chicago, D.C., Miami, Denver, Detroit, Charlotte, and Austin. If you find one, the bank will give you $1,000.
The stunt, which is supposed to promote saving somehow, started this week.
The winning coins have the bank’s logo on one side and 100,000 cents on the back.
