10 things to do in Greater Palm Springs this February (2026)

February arrives fast, brings friends, and immediately fills your calendar whether you asked it to or not. This is peak season in Greater Palm Springs. The weather behaves, snowbirds are fully installed, and events stop spacing themselves out politely.
If you’re only picking a few things to do this month, start here.
Modernism Week – February 12–22
Modernism Week is the defining event of February in Palm Springs. For ten days, the city leans hard into midcentury architecture, design, history, and the kind of cocktail parties that require at least one linen outfit.
There are dozens of ways to participate, ranging from free talks to expensive, sell-out-fast home tours. You do not need to do everything. You do need to plan.
Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale (Feb 13–15)
Held at the Palm Springs Convention Center, this is the most approachable Modernism Week event. Dealers, furniture, art, and design pieces without the logistics of house tours.
Signature Home Tours (Primarily Feb 14–16)
These are the hardest tickets to get and the most talked-about part of the week. Expect timed entry, shuttles, and zero flexibility. Worth it if you care about architecture. Skippable if crowds drain your soul.
Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival – February 12 to March 1
Running in Indio from mid-February through the end of the month, the Date Festival is the cultural counterweight to Modernism Week. Carnival rides, monster trucks, livestock, deep-fried everything, and dates in more forms than you realized existed.
Operating days: Thursdays through Sundays, plus Presidents Day
Location: Riverside County Fairgrounds, Indio
Tickets: Affordable, with advance discounts available

Major Concerts & Shows (Casinos & Arena)

McCallum Theatre – February Performances
The McCallum has a couple of notable February runs worth calling out:
- Clue: Live on Stage
A board game brought to life, with murder and suspiciously motivated dinner guests.
Feb. 25 – March 1 - The Ten Tenors
Because nine wouldn’t be enough and eleven would be too many.
Feb. 11 – 15
Coachella Valley Firebirds Home Games – February
The Firebirds season is in full swing, and February brings a solid run of home games. Easy to enjoy even if you’re not a die-hard hockey fan.
All games played at Acrisure Arena:
- Friday, Feb 6 – vs. Ontario Reign
- Saturday, Feb 7 – vs. Ontario Reign
- Friday, Feb 13 – vs. Tucson Roadrunners
- Saturday, Feb 14 – vs. Tucson Roadrunners
- Wednesday, Feb 18 – vs. Bakersfield Condors
- Friday, Feb 20 – vs. San Diego Gulls
- Saturday, Feb 21 – vs. San Diego Gulls
Palm Springs VillageFest – Thursdays in February
If you want something free, easy, and reliably enjoyable, VillageFest still does the job. Downtown Palm Springs shuts down for food vendors, art, live music, and crowds that skew more relaxed than weekend festivals.
Dates: Thursdays – Feb 5, 12, 19, 26
Time: 6:00–10:00 PM
Location: Downtown Palm Springs
