Yucca Valley will make an appearance in Tim Burton’s newest flick.
The director (“Beetlejuice”, “Batman”, “Edward Scissorhands”, really too many too mention) was spotted filming at the Circle K (really?) on Old Woman Springs Road, reports Z107.7 – who says that it was for his new movie “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”.

Z107.7 noted a heavy presence of California Highway Patrol cars, semi trucks, and people around the convenience store.

The movie stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Chris O’Dowd, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Kim Dickens, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson.
It is scheduled to be released domestically on September 30.
