Two arrested for murder of Anza man left at fire station

Two men have been arrested for the murder of an Anza man who was dropped off at an Anza fire station on June 4.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced that arrests of 28-year-old Maxwell Reynolds and 27-year-old Brandon Pollard for the murder, according to a press release.

Deputies were called to the Anza Fire station on Highway 371 for a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was given aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as 61-year-old Khamsene Singolay, reports KESQ.

Detectives determined that the shooting happened in the area of Trip Flats Road and Bautista Canyon.  No information regarding a motive in the deadly shooting was made available.

Reynolds, an Anza resident, was arrested Friday at the Riverside University Health System’s Moreno Valley location.  Pollard, an Escondido resident, was arrested in San Diego on Saturday.
