An 18-year old woman from Desert Hot Springs is in critical condition after falling out of a moving car in Palm Springs.
Police were called to Pebble Beach Drive, near the Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday because a woman was lying in the middle of the road with a head injury, reports KESQ.
Police say that she fell from a car driven by a 17-year-old male from Desert Hot Springs, according to KMIR.
The woman is in critical condition with head trauma.
Authorities are investigating, but told KESQ they believe it was an accident.
