A collision in Palm Desert left at least one person injured and a Hyundai in the middle of an interiors store.
The crash happened about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday at San Pablo and Highway 111 in Palm Desert, notes the Desert Sun. The Hyundai ran a red light in the intersection and was hit by a VW – sending the Hyundai into Richard Read Interiors at the southwest corner of the intersection.
No one was injured inside the store as it was closed. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with “moderate” injuries.
