Palm Springs Pride 2026: Plan Your Weekend

Palm Springs Pride turns 40 in 2026, with the main celebration November 6–8 and a Sunday parade through downtown. The festival and parade are free, which leaves the first decision pleasantly simple: which part do you want to come for?

You can spend an evening in the Arenas District, make a day of the festival or start Sunday cheering along Palm Canyon Drive. You do not need a three-day stamina contest to have a good Pride weekend.

Which day fits your plans?

• Friday, November 6: Start with the Arenas District’s evening celebration if you want a night out.
• Saturday, November 7: Make the festival your main outing, with marketplace browsing, community booths and entertainment.
• Sunday, November 8: Come for the morning parade, then continue into the festival if you want more.

Use the weekend schedule for the latest program and stage times before setting a meeting or pickup time.

When and where is the parade?

The Pride Parade starts Sunday at 10 a.m., traveling south on Palm Canyon Drive from Tachevah to Amado. The organizer expects it to last about two hours.

If you want to walk straight into the festival afterward, choose a viewing spot toward the Amado end. If the parade is your whole outing, work backward from where you intend to park and how far you want to walk.

Fortune Feimster is this year’s National Grand Marshal, and Cheyenne Jackson is Celebrity Grand Marshal. The 40th-anniversary announcement also honors Marshall Pearcy as Pride Royalty for Life and Gary Moline as Community Grand Marshal.

Where does the festival happen?

The festival grounds include Palm Canyon Drive between Amado and Baristo, Arenas Road between Palm Canyon and Calle Encilia, and Museum Way. This is a downtown outing with stages, vendors and community organizations spread across several blocks.

Pick an actual intersection when meeting friends. “We’re downtown” is a status report, not a location.

The festival also lists a Children’s Headquarters with games and crafts and a Youth Zone. Families can make those part of a daytime visit without building the day around the evening stages.

Do you need tickets?

The festival and parade are free; donations support the event. Check the individual listing for any additional show or party you want to attend before assuming it is included.

What should you sort out before leaving home?

Bring water, sun protection and shoes suited to the amount of walking you want to do. Leave a meal break in the day, and choose a meeting point before the group splits up.
