A man attempting to run from authorities on a freeway (!) learned the importance of wearing a belt on Tuesday.

The whole thing went down about 6 a.m. on Tuesday in Chicago, according to WLS. Police received calls about a man on the freeway. When they showed up, he ran from them – well, at least until his own pants tripped him up.

The man was taken to a local hospital and no there are no reports about why he was walking on the freeway.
