I honestly thought this promo for an actual story on Try My Nuts, a store that has been on El Paseo for over a year now, was a SNL bit first time I saw it.  The record scratch, the blurred images, the old timer freaking out halfway through – it’s almost too ridiculous to be a parody – but, remarkably it’s a real thing!

Sweeps month is a hell of a time to watch local TV.
